If we cannot verify your identity or authorization to make the request and confirm that the personal information relates to you, we will not be able to respond to your request or provide you with personal information.
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. However, we consider requests made through your password-protected account to be sufficiently verified when the request relates to personal information associated with that account.
We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the identity of the requester or the authority to make the request.
For instructions on exercising opt-out rights, see Personal Information Sale Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights.
Response Timing and Format
We aim to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five days from the date of receipt. If we need more time (up to 90 days), we will notify you in writing of the reason and the extension period.
If you have an account with us, we will send our written response to the e-mail address registered for that account. If you do not have an account with us, depending on your request, we will send our written response electronically to the e-mail you have provided to us.
Any disclosure we provide may only cover the 12-month period prior to receipt of the verifiable consumer request. Our response will also explain the reasons, if any, why we cannot fulfill a request. For data portability requests, we will select a format for providing your personal information in a way that is easily usable and allows you to transfer the information from one entity to another entity without any barriers.
We will not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or clearly unfounded. If we determine that the request requires a fee, we will explain to you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before we complete your request.
